DEBORAH RUDOLPH
GEMSTONE – AND JEWELRY DESIGN

Stones fascinate me; they are thousands of years old, yet at the same time limited. They exist in all kinds of colours and shapes.
No two stones are the same. In my work I concentrate on preserving the primary character of each stone. I focus on the shape and the structure
– the aspects unique to each stone. It is these elements that make it possible for every piece of jewellery to have its own individual character and depth, regardless of similarity in form. Under this credo I develop single pieces and small series.
